Mission Statement

"The Chamber aims to further its members' business interests by providing focus for the promotion of Broadstone as a retail and business area. By acting as a representative for the business community in local issues, and providing a forum to discuss mattes of general interest."

The Chamber's intent is to achieve this by :
  • Raising the profile of Broadstone as an active business and retail shopping area (this has been achieve by promoting events such as: the annual Christmas Parade; the Christmas lights and decorations; editorials in the local press; effectively using the Chamber's website; themed local and national promotions and by encouraging innovative ideas)
  • Liaising on local planning, traffic, parking and crime prevention matters by direct negotiations with the Police and the Local Authority, from our position of strength in numbers
  • Keeping its members informed by holding regular meetings and circulating minutes of the meeting by mail and e-mail
  • Working to maintain and increase membership
  • Fund raising
The Chamber is an active body with our meetings often attended by our local Councillors and our local MP Annette Brooke .

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is the website of Broadstone Chamber of Trade and Commerce (BCTC). We are a thriving and expanding organisation, representing the interests of more than 50 businesses in the Broadstone area. Some sections of the website are open to the public, whereas others are for Members only. That means that Members will need to log in with their user name and password to access those sections.
