I own Molly’s Catering Services with my long-suffering husband, Paul. The business has been running for 7 years, being conceived just before the birth of our eldest daughter – Molly!

I always aspired to be a lawyer but, with distinctly average A-levels, decided not to head off to Uni for a 2nd choice career as a teacher and instead took a job at C&G
Building Society, and then on into the world of Estate Agency Finance.

I met and married Paul whilst living on the Isle of Wight and, having been promoted to Regional Sales Manager moved to Poole in November 1999. Paul was a Royal Navy Chef looking for a new career which didn’t involve horrendous hours and so our business, Molly’s, was formed.

It was actually Paul’s idea for me to become involved with the Chamber after I used to bully him into attending every month whilst I worked in my finance job. At the time, the Chamber had about 15 members, and so was reduced to business owners talking without taking much action and he thought I could do something positive by getting involved – I remind him of that when he complains of the time I spend doing Chamber work!

With four small children there is little time for much else but when not working I love traditional family days out – picnics, parks and beaches – and couldn’t live without at least one holiday every year – somewhere hot and sunny, with lots of good books and a big pool!

I love being Chair of the BCTC as it allows me to try and improve the community in which we live, work and play in some small way. If Broadstone remains successful as a shopping and trading village, all our businesses will thrive and our community can grow for many years to come.

This is the website of Broadstone Chamber of Trade and Commerce (BCTC). We are a thriving and expanding organisation, representing the interests of more than 50 businesses in the Broadstone area. Some sections of the website are open to the public, whereas others are for Members only. That means that Members will need to log in with their user name and password to access those sections. You can log in via the Login Form on the home page of the website. We welcome contributions from all Members of the Chamber, so if you have any feedback, comments, news or other input you would like to share with us, please email us in the first instance at info@broadstone.biz. We look forward to hearing from you!
